KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, March 16, IWN — Homicide detectives here probing the second gun-related death in one week.

Garry “Scare Dem” Williams of Sion Hill/Rose Place was gunned downed in Kingstown Friday night.

He died in the doorway of S&J Restaurant, located in Moulton Mayers Architects Commercial Building on Higginson Street.

The shooting took place sometime around 10 p.m.

A man who was in the vicinity told I-Witness News on Saturday that Williams was shot somewhere in the area and collapse as he made his way into the restaurant.

The man, however, was reluctant to give further details.

“I don’t want them to shoot me,” he told I-Witness News.

Williams was shot in Kingstown sometime last year. He was also charged in connection with the armed robbery of a major company here a few years ago.

On March 8, Elmore Augustus Mapp, 46, was shot and killed during a robbery in Belair.
