KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has postponed his trip to Qatar and Kuwait and is “resting comfortably” at a hotel in Barbados, a government spokesman said on Friday.

Gonsalves had delayed his trip after he complained of not feeling well during a stopover in Barbados Wednesday.

Elson Crick, communication consultant in the Office of the Prime Minister, said Friday that the Prime Minister’s wife, Eloise Gonsalves, would join in Barbados on Friday.

“A determination as to when he will returned to Kingstown will be made over the weekend,” Crick said in an email to the media.

Gonsalves was on his way to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) when he complained of feeling unwell and went to see a doctor in Barbados.

Jimmy Prince, director of the Agency for Public Information, and Cleo Jones-Huggins, Director of Invest SVG, who were travelling with Gonsalves, have proceeded to Qatar as planned.

New York based Ambassador to the United Nations Camillo Gonsalves, who is also part of the delegation, was already in Kuwait.

  3. JOHN, The curse of the Christian blood that I predicted is coming true.

I think that an engraved stone should be put at the airport in memory of all those Christians whose blood went into funding the airport.

    • Peter you lost all credibility on this blog. You are a one sided broken record. We are looking for you on the other post to comment on amnesia’s article about Arnhim “Nippy” Eustace being a dictator. Who is the donkey and the marxist now?

  8. JOE, Your quite right Slater should give him the middle finger test, and test his prostate.

SLATER, if you need procedural help, tell him to accompany VINCYPOWA on a ‘Cottaging’ or ‘Tea Room’ trip.
